Ramon Novarro was a famous silent movie screen star in the 1920's and 1930's when my dad was young. I only remember him in the famous movie Sunset Boulevard which I saw the first time in the 1960's before I came to the US and then again in 1975 in my native Italy. His character I remember was a playing card partner with Norma Desmond.
