Lewis Hine
Hine's iconic industrial photo, called Power House Mechanic Working on Steam Pump, 1920. I see Herb Ritts here, Fred with Tyres.
Hine chronicled both the depression era and postwar American south. His documentary work in factories and his exposé style was so expressive that it helped change labour laws in the United States.
