The art of James Ferringer

Interesting jumble of textures. Muted colors and composition. I take issue with his framing of several of his subjects and the energy of the pieces is all over the place. I don't know anything about him, but assume he's contemporary and still producing work? Based on this... he's still finding himself - which is good. In art, the journey is far more interesting than the destination.

Hello uptonking, yes I believe he is contemporary. It's quite eclectic indeed. Hints of an Art Nouveau style, and yet the name boldly up front like one would see in a piece from the 16th century. The journey, yes, I suspect it's one reason I read so much hahaha :)
