I remember as a kid finding my best friend's father's porn mags. Sexual smorgasbord was in the text. It prompted me to find out just what that word, that I had never seen before, meant .. hahaha!
Hello CAAZ. I love black and white. I have lately been taking shots with a cheap high contrast Chinese film (called Lucky) using an Ensign Ful Vue camera (1948). Street photography. Not boudoir photography :)
Luv me some hot jocks ! Like B&W photos from the golden age of physique photography in North America and Europe 1945-1965. Would like to know what kind of camera you are holding in your response pic. :-) CA jock
Hello there CA. Yes, I am hooked on 'The Vintage Gay' just like you! Thanks for asking about the camera. With tongue-in-cheek we are copying an image by Andreas Feninger called 'The Photojournalist' (1951). We, as in my old boyfriend, who is a professional photographer, and I. Deciding to use Feninger's image, he convinced me otherwise and instead said, "Let's do our own." The image is a bit of a lie as we used a loupe on the underside of the camera to mimic Feninger's famous shot (as you can see, the camera logo is upside down). The camera is a Perfex Speed Candid (1938), the first American 35mm camera with a cloth focal plane shutter. It is a bakelite BEAST, an ergonomic nightmare, but it has a Cooke triplet and takes excellent photos. The example I am holding is actually the result of two broken cameras that I merged with parts into one working camera. Go figure, that's another hobby aside from this blog, repairing antique cameras. Cheers.

That is so damn hot.
La masculinité, la sexualité et la virilité des hommes sont appréciées et révélées en B&W :)
